Many distributors and manufacturers today offer fingerprint technologies within their employee time clocks. However, the all important question to ask is, do their fingerprint readers REALLY work in the REAL world?

Our Answer, Not Really!

For conventional fingerprint technologies to function, users with clean fingerprints are needed. Herein lie the challenges to conventional readers, which don’t take into account the real world wear and tear of the fingerprints, resulting in high failure verification rates. Our fingerprint readers are designed to perform in today’s real world environments functioning even when users have wet, dry, aged, cut or damaged fingerprints!

How do we overcome these real world challenges?

By reading your fingerprint characteristics which lay untouched beneath the surface of the skin. Unlike conventional fingerprint technologies used in fingerprint readers today; vulnerable to a variety of conditions including wet, dirty, dry, moisture and bright ambient light, our imaging system uses multiple wavelengths of light to capture an image of both a person’s external fingerprint and their identical “internal fingerprint” — the foundational capillary bed. Damaged or obscured external prints don’t affect our readers due to our imaging technology which authenticates users with their internal print data; ensuring your prints are clean and clear within any environment. Simply stated, our fingerprint technology works where those other biometric technologies fail.

EasyClocking’s fingerprint algorithm is compliant with the U.S. Government’s Personal Identification Verification(PIV) standards, and has achieved one of the highest results in the most important benchmark Fingerprint Vendor Technology Evaluation (FpVTE) organized by the U.S. Government’s National Institute of Standards and Technology.
